Harbor Stairs

This waterfront project included a special double circular entryway stair, and a stair going down to the lower level. The balustrades had a distinctive design, made in bronze to emulate kelp floating in the water. Treads were made in Walnut and Maple and continued to a custom swirl inlaid in the floor at the base. We also continued the kelp theme in a special custom floor mandala.

The entryway stair frames a beautiful Chihuly glass chandelier, and the lower stair was built next to a large aquarium
