The Gig Harbor Stair
A double curved entryway stair, and an elliptical lower stair with Walnut and Big Leaf Maple treads. Cast and rolled bronze balustrades. The lower stair winds down to a custom mandala floor design, and custom bench, also by Nathie Katzoff. Installed 2024
The balustrade, in cast and rolled bronze, emulates fronds of kelp floating in the ocean, and frames a stunning piece of Chihuly art hanging in the entryway. With custom hand turned newel posts and custom wreathed handrail. Walnut treads.
